This video from Georgia Victor - Estudo dinâmico da coluna vertebral - published in YouTube, shows a tensegrity model of the spine.
What lessons can we learn from it?
1. The vertebrae are floating, held by tensile structures (this is what tensegrity is!)
2. The spine behaves collectively, and it total movement or stability depends on what is happening to the tensile system.
3. The spine needs to be stable all around. Notice how she pushes it and the spine sinks, or pull it and it bulges. This is what happens to those who has a weak fascial system (like in Cerebral Palsy).
